Step 1:

There are three points you will have to unscrew before you can remove the panel. The green arrow screw can be accessed with a regular philips head screwdriver and the other two red arrow screws can be accessed using a 5mm alan key.

Unscrew all three screws.

Step 2:

Pull the panel towards the wing mirror and towards you, and it should slide off easily. After the screws are taken off, it is simply slotted in with the brass parts in the photo below.

Step 3:

Slide the power mirrors switch part of the console away from the window switches.

Step 4:

Unplug all the connectors to the switches themselves. These can simply be pulled off gently. Now you should have the switches isolated by themselves.

Step 5:

Now for the tricky part. The switches now need to be pulled away from the housing itself. The photo below shows two of the four small retaining clips on each of the switches. To pull the switch away from the housing, you will have to use jewellers tools (or similar) to unclip these clips while trying to push the switch out. (No it isn't easy, but be patient and try to unclip them two at a time).

Step 6:

When they have been pulled out, it is a simple process of refitting everything (simply do the reverse, most parts just clip in).
