Did anyone watch the ProCars today on 9?.. Stokell's R32 ended up wipping every thing including STIs V8s etc... pritty exciting in the rain as well.. What's the specs on that car?

I wouldn't mind getting myself one of them.. awsome!

Is the Golf now better than the S3, EVO and STI?

Hhhmm... what about stock?

I think Procar has some reasonably heavy handed parity rules, but I'm not certain on that.

In answer to your second question ... YES! 8)

Better is a matter of opinon, Motor & SMH don't seem to think the Golf is better :)

I the new R32 does look good.. but I don't really think they've done enough with it to really distinguish it from the usual golf apart from the engine...

I still think the S3 looks the biz, and looks like it has a wider track (?) so in theory may even handle better?

SMH? Bwahahahaha, they do car reviews now!?

IT looks OK, just think it arrived to late in the life of the Golf IV. VW are learning with Audi, RS4 also arrived at the end of the B5 life cycle. I've seen some pics on the net of the new R32, looks like they won't make the same mistake and bring it at the end of the Golf V life.

If I had the cash and was to be hotting up a car - the r32 would be the perfect choice of platform for me!

How far could one go with a 4 cylinder 1.8T? How far can you go with a 3.2Lt V6? (Speaking in terms of reliability, longevity, etc,...)

BTW, the MKV will have the 3.6Lt option (200Kw).
