Strange request? Anyone wanna take me for a quick ride in their A/S3?

Hi guys.

I'm seriously considering getting a ~1998 3 door A3, or a ~2000 3 door S3. I'm interested in them because they're frikkin' sexy, and from what I hear they're well built. But the thing is, I've never been in one. So... would anyone be interested in taking me for a quick strap in Adelaide? I live 15 minutes west of the CBD, and I work in the city on weekdays.

My shout for beer/coffee at the end! And just think, you may well be bringing another person into the Audi fold!

No idea how this will be received, but I thought it was worth a shot!

If you're looking to buy one, why don't you just find one for sale and take it for a test drive?

Yeh, the test drive is an option, but it would be good to pick the brain of an enthusiastic owner too, and see what their honest impressions are since they aren't trying to sell me a car.

As there arent too many of them around, its worth taking one or two for a test drive if you can, then search Australia-wide to buy the right one - I bought mine in Brisbane and had it trained/trucked over to Perth.

the S3 is higher up the tree than the A3, but obviously that comes at a cost. i started looking at A3s and Golf GTIs but in the end decided I couldnt turn down an S3, oh well, its only money, but it has bought me a huuuuge smile!!
