Drove my first Q5

Drove my Brother-in-laws Q5 yesterday. He picked it up on Saturday. Dark blue outside with grey lether. Beautiful car!

He has the 2.0T petrol motor and let me say, I was very suprised at how responsive and powerful the engine is. Mated to the 7 speed dsg, the car changes gear so quickly it just feels like it keeps pulling.
Coming from an A4 quattro with K04 upgrade, this motor is fantanstic, plenty of power and torque.

Also liked the drivers seating position. Nice and high but the car didn't feel bulky or heavy to drive. The great thing is that yo don't have to climb into the car, it's just a step in. Well done Audi

Did u try using 6 speed sequential? On my test drive it felt slow changing......but then I didnt use it for long. Will try it more when I get it - but considering the indicator levers is on the left - i might be driving this car more in Auto more.

With my brother-in-law next to me and the car only 1 day old, I just drive it in auto. But in auto the gear changes were anything else but slow. I was very impressed.
