hey im driving down to melbourne with a mate in 2 weeks time... and i know by the time i get there my rims are gonna be blacker then night and my cars gonna be dirty as can be.... any suggestions on a good hand car wash in melb... city centre??

During the Grand Prix a number of us used:

St. Kilda Hand Carwash
71 Inkerman St St Kilda

with excellent results.

from memory about $15 for exterior, and $30 for the works. A good sign was the number of prestige cars lined up with us waiting in turn on a Sat am.

wouldn't let any car wash place touch my car. bring a bucket and do it yourself at the hotel ;)
