Hi there,

I've bought an Audi V8 that will arrive next week. It has leather sports seats, with the seat base centre cushion leather 'shrunk' slightly so the cushion, instead of being retangular, has a rounded appearance under where your knees are when sitting in the seat. So what I'm wondering is there a product that could save leather that has shrunk like this but not yet showing signs of cracking? I must admit I've not seen leather that has done this and the rest of it, though showing 14 years of use, is in pretty good nick.

Thx,

Phil.

Your best bet would be to use a good conditioner. This will soften the leather and hopefully allow it to stretch a little back to its original size.

I doubt it will soften it enough to allow it to stretch much but at the very least it will keep it smooth and supple under the strain.
