Thanks Mike, if I have the right tool on hand it's a bonus!
Any Western Australian Audi owners out there that have an injector removal kit for the 4.2 FSI that I could borrow? I'm going to replace my injectors in my S5. I could borrow, purchase, or pay in...
I'd read that but didn't find any examples on youtube. Also a bit harder to do and then change back if I don't like it but I'll see what I can find.
Anyone in Aust done a rear muffler delete? I've listened to heaps of Youtubes and think it might be a easy mod for a bit more sound and fairly easy to reverse if I don't like it any throughts?
Always good to put on that the issues are solved. Fan Controller was the culprit so had to replace the whole unit $$ good fro another 12 years. I'm not convinced that the fule trims are any issue atm...
Looks like I still have 2 issues. Fan is coming on fine but then it stays on and flattens the battery, fuel trims are still showing rich I think it might be the evap purge valve allowing a small...
Got some work done on my 4.2 S5, changed the battery, fixed some minor leaks and changed the upper and lower control arms. Low and behold the fans stay on and flatten the battery while I'm at a...
Hi Peimad (aka Darren) where are you located? I might be interested. Does it remain licenced to you?
You won't know until you buy it and try. Use the edge of the roof as close to the seams as possible. Some of those pics show 2 MTBs which would weigh as much as one eMTB.
I did a search on Amazon and found HPFP for a 4.2 at pretty good prices apparently in $AU from the US and because I'm a Amazon Prime member apparently shipping is free? Seems unbeleiveable but I went...
So what happened? what did you settle on? how does it look?
What happened to the Pics? I'm thinking of doing my S5.
If I apply a little heat from a heat gun will the Carbon fibre be a little softer and able to be moulded back into shape?
Well, drove an RS5 amazing but.... I didn't think it was right for a daily driver so I got myself a B8 S5 V8 which for seemed about right for me as well as being a little less cash.
I'm very happy...
My carbon fibre trim around the shifter is coming unstuck mostly because it appears the outside layers are shrinking and causing it to curl away from the console. I can force it back into place but...
Thanks, not without significant modifications and the rest of the control system would seem to be the answer.
Any advantage on putting this on a S5 4.2? I'm assuming its cat back?
Thanks for the advice. I'll keep looking and see what comes up hopefully I can find the right one that's been loved by sommeone else and treated with the respect it's due.
Hi Team, thinking of buying a 2012 RS5 with about 90k km on the clock and I'm wondering what I should look out for and what I should be prepared for in the short term? I will get the car inspected...
Well a few hundred ks on it now and even my wife thinks it's more responsive. I haven't really noticed a change in fuel economy but I have noticed that the info on the screen seems to be changing...
I should have mentioned mine was able to be done through the obd 2? So I didn't even have to leave the car just had to make 2 visits.
I took the plunge and spoke to my mechanic and had my ecu flashed this morning for what I thought was a reasonable amount of $. They took a copy of my ecu map them applied a German tune and then...
I've got to look into this, I like my Allroad for it's flexibility an like you I'm towing a small van. I've had mine for three years now in Perth. If you were closer I'd be on you doorstep in a shot...
OK I'm waiting:pop:. Which towbar are you going with? Does the ECU need to be Coded? In the mean time do all Q5s have some form of self levelling suspension? If not which ones do?
