bdzy88 has asked elsewhere how do you change the LED's to match his non OEM LS1 Xenon bulbs. Thought I may as well post the answer here as well.

Pulled them out as promised Dave......doesn't appear to be any way of changing them unless of course you remove the front clear acrylic cover.
Strangely the manuals that I have are silent on the subject as well.

These are adaptive units as well.

The clear acrylic front does appear to come off Dave but without any specific instructions on how to in any of the manuals, I wasn't inclined to risk it. Dont dare contemplate how much these adaptive units are to replace.

Hi guys, just going by what I can see there in the pics and from mucking about in the past myself with headlights on other cars, there's a series of clips there that hold the front lens and rear headlight assembly together...

If you remove those cilps (which is easy enough) this should reveal the inside of the healight assembly (front of it) and 'maybe' the LEDS will be able to be accessed and pulled out from there...ie. if they're plug in type ??

The only problems you'll have is if there a special seal inbetween the 2 parts which will have to be replaced as it was otherwise you'll get leakage and fogging up of the front lens afterwards - a problem I had with a headlight assembly I stripped down for mods...

FWIW ElsaWin has this to say on the topic:

The daytime running light bulbs (LED lights) are integrated in the headlight housing. The LED lights cannot be renewed separately; the headlight must be renewed as a complete unit.

I did remove the clips and there was a seal...which I chose not to break.
