As there was on the Golf R.

Golf R had it by default.

Audi S3 without the folding mirror option can do the LHS mirror dip by enabling it with VCDS - uses the power mirror motor.

Those with the folding mirror option as we have, automatically get the LHS mirror dip function enabled.

yes, passenger mirror can dip to look at gutter for reversing. People say it can get out of whack if you don't have the folding mirror package but mine seems ok with very infrequent use.

I still haven't seen the need to make any changes with VCDS. I did set up with a tuner in Brisbane to do some before I got the car but haven't found the need and the less things get touched the better IMO.

    Default 8V VCDS Mods

There is a massive pdf file documenting all VCDS options (10MB - on Audi Sport dot Net)

I can email it to you if you want.

This is an extract - was posted here on this forum too I think.

The engineering menu can be accessed with the following combination: Back button + Navigation button 1 (top left).

MMI Reset / Restart using monkey grip

The MMI system in the Audi A3 8V can be restarted by following: Menu button +

Does anyone know if it is possible to permanently disable Audi Pre-Sense?

Also I have Adaptive Cruise Control and thoroughly hate it, can cars with ACC be coded to use normal cruise control?
