    Default AUK Engine Timing Chain

About to pick up a 2005 A6 with the AUK (3.2L V6) engine. Looking at vagcat, it's got a timing chain instead of a timing belt. All my previous cars (90, 100, A4) have been timing belts so this is an all new experience for me. Do I need to replace the chain? Ever?

    Current:
    2004 A6 C5 Sedan 3.0 V6 Quattro
    2005 A6 4F Sedan 3.2 V6 Quattro
    1999 A4 B5 Avant 2.4 V6

    Retired:
    1990 100 Sedan 2.3
    1991 90 Sedan 2.3
    1999 A4 B5 Sedan 2.4 V6

If it stretches, yes, but I do believe that you'll need to monitor the guides fairly closely.
