Default Things that bother me about my S1

First, why doesn't the bonnet match with the body line? (dirty....)

    Random bolt/nut...

Intake oil, yum yum! I noticed some oil in the intake hose, which is peculiar because it's above the inlet on the side (in the photo)

That random bolt looks like a bonnet stay to me.

The oil is most likely PCV related. It will be one of the contributing factors to carbon build up in FSI engines, the others being EGR and lack of solvent (petrol) cleaning of the valve area (which is present in Port Injected and carburettored engines).
A partial solution is to install a catch can.
You can also use an inlet manifold cleaner each service as preventative maintenance.
Is the EA888 family the engines where they've put the port injectors back on for idle to help clean the inlet ports?

Bonnet stay, hmm doubt it because it's very close to the hinge point of the bonnet.

Most definitely PCV, but most interesting was that I found some more oil going in the other direction (away from turbo) near the joint of the intake hose, peculiar. Yeah +1 on catch can.

Yeah they have the direct and port injectors.

The bonnet on those A1's employs the same neat little double hinge set up the boot lids on nearly all sedan variant Audi's use.
When the hinge folds down, the back of the hinge rests on the rubber stop at the top of that bolt. It needs a level of adjustability - that's why it's a bolt.

This is the whole hinge assembly left hand side (looking from the wrong side).
Your offending bolt is to the left. The bonnet itself mounts to the straight edge at the top.

If you can follow the fold down sequence, the rear most hinge comes to rest on the rubber top of that bolt.
