Default New A1 TFSI just cleared customs! Only 7 more days to go

I'm switching from a BMW x1 Diesel to a nicely optioned A1, hoping I'll love it! Wondering if anyone has fitted the aftermarket reverse camera, and if it is worth the $1,100 I just got quoted?

    Hi 2016A1Lisa,
Do you need a reverse camera? A1 is very small. My S1 has sensors but I wouldn't have optioned them if i bought it new.

who was the quote from? I'm not sure what 'cabling' comes standard in the car and if it's just easy to 'plug in' the camera and active it via vagcom/vcds..

Give the guys at autofidelity a call, see what they quote...

http://autofidelity.com.au/product/i...or-audi-a1-8x/ the quote I got was from autofidelity, it's a lot to pay. I'm also trying to price the OEM rubber floor mats and mud spats. Does anyone have an idea about how much these are likely to cost, I'm getting the stainless foot pedals fitted on Tuesday, shame the OEM doesn't do a foot rest cover as well as I'd like to preserve the carpet there. So far I'm loving it, but taking it in to see about a rough idle that appears even after a good run, has anyone else experienced this or is it just how they run?

Hi V8 DTM, I'd like to get a camera as I'm still not used to the tight/obscured over the shoulder view, they come with reverse sensors and they're great, I just like to see as well for tight spots.

Price looks correct if it includes parking sensors that alert you when getting too close to something.
I had that done and DAB+ radio and Bose 12 speaker including subwoofer upgrade, all integrated for $5000 in Sydney, but 2 weeks away at the engineers place.

I had a mobile AUDI soecialist contracted to them work on my car but has since left the industry and has his own solar installation company now.

Rear camera and dash camera units, as well as sound systems can be done at Carbon Car Systems in Blacktown.

    Quality work there!!
