Na. Have way through next year you'll want Stage 2.

Apparently stage 2 is f*** all power increase (for b8 A4 at least) compared to stock->stage 1

I am going to get it tuned later this year. Unfortunately my closest tuner is 1500 Km away (I live in Townsville, QLD)

It would be interesting to hear from someone that has gone from stage 1 to stage 2 to tell us what the gains were like.

Nice to hear. I have my 2012 (MY13) A4 2.0T booked in for an APR Stage 1 tune later this month at Prestige and Performance Coorparoo. Seems like good reviews of this place and APR have a 10% sale on until the end of June. Next step will probably be the air intake.

I actually ended up going Unitronic's, purely so i could flash it at home.

I am currently running Stage 1+ (98ron tune) but have the stage 2 tune ready when i get my down pipe modified.

I highly recommend the Unitronics route.

Also, Doger, i have a K&N intake i will sell you if you are interested.
