Thread: RS6 C6 tuner in Perth?

  1. Thumbs up RS6 C6 tuner in Perth?

    Hi all,
I am looking for a C6 sedan and when found am hoping to tune it for a nice exhaust note and a bit of extra performance.

My my issue is that if the car is over East I need to re register it in Perth, which means going over the pits. I am worried that if I get the work done over east (if the car is already there) that I might have issues when it gets back to get registered in Perth.

question 1. Do you know of any good tuners for an Audi in Perth.

question 2. At the moment I only know of RamSpeed in Sydney and am looking at their stage 2 tune. Any feedback or other recommendations welcome! The more grunt the better, but it needs to remain legal (or a possible swap back if it does get a sticker later)

question 3. Any recommendations for someone in Sydney who would be able to do a prepurchase inspection? I'd prefer an Audi specialist, not sure how the RAC standard prepurchase inspection would go.

Any advice or feedback is most welcome. I am a complete noob but have fallen in like Ve with this car (C6 RS6)!

    Hi Mate,
I know a guy who can sort you out with a tune. There are a couple of places here that sell off the shelf tunes but if you want to get the most out of it, you will need a custom tune. PM me if you want details of the custom tuner.

Hey, not sure if it's too late, but I brought my A6 over to Perth from Sydney and registered it here, didn't need to go over the pits, they just wanted visibility of the roadworthy documents and insurance for over there, put the details down on a form and that was it.

If you own the car in another state and it is registered to you for 1 year, You don't have to take it over the pits. If you buy it from another state, You need to take it over the pits to get it registered. I know because I brought my RS4 from Victoria.
