Thread: Brakes + Rotors 2.0 TFSI

  1. Default Brakes + Rotors 2.0 TFSI

Hi guys, any suggestions on brakes/rotors for the A5?

I've seen a few bosch branded ones from spares box, but there are varying price ranges and part numbers?

Any advice here will be awesome!
    thanks

Thanks. I’m just looking for regular daily runners. Both my front pads and rotors are wearing thin. So need to be changed soon.

Aomehting comparable to genuine but a bit more reasonably priced.

    Thanks!

Dealer was able to give me the exact spec for the front and back.

    Front: 320mm x 30mm
    and
    Rear: 300mm x 12mm

I have another question on the toipic. Slotted vs flat is one better than the other? I’m reading that slotted increases pad
wear. But I would expect this to translate to less rotor wear

That will all depends on what doing with your car. Is it a daily driver/Track car/Performance. Daily driver stick to flat. Slotted for Track or Performance will give you great stopping power but you will go though brake pads quicker.
