    Got my recall for the RS4, drivers side front. Only thing is I changed the wheel to a RS6 FBSW in 2013. I sent them the serial number of the current airbag to see if it is subject to a recall. No response as yet.
    Current - 2007 B7 RS4 Avant, APR Stage 3, Milltek with Hi Flo Cats, GruppeM intake, Sachs Clutch, Factory Ceramics, JHM Shifter, RS6 FBSTW, AMI & Hi Res RSNE

    Current - 2001 B5 S4 Imola Yellow Avant
    Current - 1989 B3 90 Quattro - 7A NA Engine, (Long Term Restoration Project)

    How did you find the serial number of the swap over? Did you have a pic, or did you use vagcom/vcds? Mine's been swapped on the S5 as well..

    The serial number is printed on a label on the air bag. Undo the screws that hold the airbag onto the steering wheel you should be able to see it easy enough.

    ok, thanks. I wonder if there is a vagcom way to get the serial number..

    I thought it was the passenger airbag in the B7 not the drivers side.

    My RS4 originally had a round steering wheel as I have factory bluetooth.

    Received an update from Audi Australia, earliest they can have me booked in is 2nd week into Feb 2019...
    Does not look to be as an urgent recall as I would have thought it to be :/

    Anyone have luck getting in sooner?

    Got my letter a week ago, booked in for the 24th Dec, this is Audi Brookvale, had more times later on but this suited me.

    Had my passenger airbag in the RS4 done today by Bellbowrie Motors in Coffs Harbour. Only took about an hour and all is good
    Gone - Mondeo XR5. Yummy 5 cylinder goodness.
    Now - B7 RS4. V8 screamer.
