Jhm exhaust + tune b7 rs4

Looking for some advice and opinions please.

I'm ready to go all out on the full JHM 2.75 inch downpipes and cat-back + tune.

I've sifted through all the forums and watched the Youtubes but can't decide on cats v no cats and resonated or not.

Currently have no cats and non resonated in the shopping cart......

What would you do?

It'll be a very aggressive sound that way.

I would at least have HFC to keep it street legal.

No CAT vs 200 cells may show up on a graph but doubt if your seat of the pants would even notice. Your choice re being legal but it can be an expensive decision. I've had no resonator but ended up needing something for the drone. Personal opinion but a quality note is way better than something that barks like an el cheapo Holden V8.

I plan to get an avant sometime next year, if all goes to plan, this is what i'd do (without the wife knowing) .....

Jhm exhaust with 200cel cat
Replace the DRC with KW?
Auxiliary radiators delete
Vacuum control flap in the intake delete
Carbon clean
Remove flap inside intake manifold
JHM tune

My biggest concern with running de cat (apart from the pollution) is the smell. When I give it a real hammering it stinks!

I would run with h100 cel cats in the exhaust and ask if you can swap them in. Drone is not good and I always go for the quietest exhaust when your not on it but a very nice note that is not over the top and would run resonated. For audi's I reckon miltek are the go and you neighbors and partners will be more appreciative especially if your neighbors walls are close.

See above thread for some thoughts on the JHM system. Shinz doesn't lurk here anymore but still has the RS4. Sounds awesome, doubt you would want it louder.
He also got the JHM tune, you may be able to get him on pm if you need to.

I'm running a non-resonated full Milltek system with 200 cell cats on my RS4. It suffers from a slight drone below 2000 RPM, nothing too annoying though.

Have decided to go with the high flow cats + resonated option.

I'm interested to hear how much the exhaust costs landed with import duties once it is all done and dusted.

If you could let us known that would be great.

FYI - that exhaust is made by Fast Intentions for JHM under contract i believe.
