They are pretty flat out so booking in might be a few weeks, but they seem like a good bunch.
Mine was done by Daniel in Clayton South,$290 which included the cost of the Magic Pro, what is the B124X battery? Very impressed with workmanship. Taken out the camera's from old car, as you can buy all the wiring, brackets etc from Blackvue. So will install in new beast, suppose to view Kyalami sedan today, one at Audi West Melbourne but stuck at work!

I shot an email to Daniel but got no response maybe I should call them up. They are the best location for me 12k vs 50k for GLPro. I have the camera and battery already from my previous install. All going well I would get it done on wife's car too.

B124X/Cellink Neo is an external LiFePo battery that doesnt use the cars battery to power the camera when its parked. No need for a mgaic pro.

Thanks Interleave, yes not the most timely response to emails or phone calls, but still recommend. What is better terms of cost and best option?

The magic pro is only $50 vs the B124x/cellink is $360 odd. What you want to do is monitor the battery draining as there have been reports the battery going flat with the magic pro due to not having enough granular control of the lower voltage point where the camera gets switched off.

Had no problems with Magic Pro in the old RS3 over the last 5 months.

Hi, its been quiet here last few days - everyone busy with their cars and lockdown I guess haha! Can confirm so far no issues at all with the BLackvue, the SD card that was recommended here (thanks!) and the b124x Battery, completely behaving itself. Quality wise can definitely thumbs up the Blackvue DR900S, Joecool posted the 30% special running a few weeks back, definitely worth keeping an eye out for something like this again!

The good news is I have my car, went to West Melbourne Audi on Monday, they have the Kyalami Green sedan, it is my car now, just sorting out finance, should have it next week, my dealer thought I wanted a SB, but I thought I was getting a sedan, when comparing them side by side I prefer the sedan, the black accents particularly the privacy glass looks great against the green. The SB was going to come from Sydney, that would take 3 weeks. So the sedan it is.

I removed my BlackVue DR900S camera's from the old Audi, only 5 months old, impressed as BlackVue sell all the brackets, wires etc so easy to reinstall in a new car. I will use the Magic Pro again.

Look forward to a drive when we come out of lock down again!

Congrats on the car mate. I was hoping for good weather tomorrow to give the DRM beast a good wash and a layer of Nv Jet for sh!ts and giggles, but I think it's gonna be a horrid day. Not even a good day to try and install my DR900S-2CH. At this rate, I may as well pay someone to do it and get it out of the way.....(probably not). And now that we're back in lockdown, I haven't even gone back to Liquid R for the post application check and photo shoot that Jacky wanted to do. It's all just a bit **** at the moment....first world problems, of course!

Can recommend Daniel at Complete Auto solutions, I was going to do my own installation, he is a recommended BV installer and excellent work and price. So you recommend Jacky? Well we can plan a drive day for 5 1/2 weeks time!

I can certainly recommend Jacky for the install of the PPF. The heat resisting ceramic tint at the front is very good until the sun hit it, directly. Then it seems to become quite cloudy and a little difficult to see through, almost glary. Not sure if it's due to the ceramic nature of the film, but looking through it in the sun, it is not optically clear. In the shade (non direct sun) it's awesome, but the sun seems to glare on the particles within the film, if that makes sense. Something I need to discuss with him. The PPF is fine, and certainly not peeling back anywhere and you really don't know it's on the car, just as it should be. Around the intricate areas, there is nothing to be seen. Flawless work!
