Hey Alister/ everyone

Well I have learnt something today which is surprisingly good news hopefully

1. VAS 5054A with OKI chip
2. Someone in Poland / Russia / China with ODIS online account
3. TeamViewer

The Audi process procedure from what I’ve read doesn’t apply everywhere

Have contacted multiple sources for online help through team viewer with Odis

So basically I have the VAS 5054A plugged in to my S3

Find a person who has the online account with ODIS in above country’s and can still be done

Will update with more information when I have it.

Yeah, that’s why this forum rocks also. Ppl sharing and teaching others who at a point knew didly squat.

The fact people respond and take time out of their day is amazing to me also. When I move forward even if the result isn’t what I expected I will come post to allow people to learn from my endeavours

Just an update guys/gals

I have ordered the VAS5054a and also have a uk retrofitter willing to try the coding and cp removal

They are also aware of the new procedure for paperwork Audi require. Still not sure what the chance are but I’m going to spend the little more to find out. All been done at home in the driveway with a virtual USB to UK to a laptop with a dealer license with geko- Odis

Will update either way on the outcome

VAS5054a arrived today. Along with some VAG software.

So I need to install / port USB interface over internet to retrofitter and been on edge for 48 hours waiting for a reply from AudiAG

Will post when know more
