    Default Carbon Fibre Trim re-glue

My carbon fibre trim around the shifter is coming unstuck mostly because it appears the outside layers are shrinking and causing it to curl away from the console. I can force it back into place but it springs back so I'd need a pretty serious glue to hold it down. I can probably clamp it while it dries.

Does anyone know what would be a good glue to use?

Araldite is probably your best option.

If I apply a little heat from a heat gun will the Carbon fibre be a little softer and able to be moulded back into shape?

I'm not sure on that one... risky, but might work...
