B7 RS4 - New spark plugs

Morning all, and happy new year

Time has come to change the plugs on the RS4. Sounds like these are the OEM ones and are around $20 to $25 locally per plug

Just wondering whether i stick with these ones or try something else?

Also, will change them myself as there are plenty of DIY guides out there.

I can't see anything on the APR website that says that you should change from stock:

The standard plugs are OK, if you change brand or heat range make sure you are on top of any limitations with different plugs. The long life plugs save money on plug changes every service and bring the occasional problem of plugs seized in the head because they haven't been removed for years (and years). Alloy head = major repair if it goes haywire.

That is the standard temp range if running a stock motor ie no blower or turbo.

If you’re not tuned, just keep the oem, basically are NGK so it’s a good brand. Just change them way before than Audi says

Regard the brand, they can keep up even a soft tune..
regard the km, even a 0,01 gap makes the difference, and with engines like yours or tuned, it’s advisable to change them sooner than Audi recommends. They’ll be way more used than that gap if you change them after the normal service.
no damages to the engine of course, but hit a rougher idle, very small fuel consumption differences etc..
also, more power, more heat for the spark plugs, more prone to fail if it’s not correct..so no one wants a spark plug part into the combustion chamber!
