Hey muckman, can you post up some ODIS screen shots? I'd be intererested to see. I've been using VAGCOM for years, but most I've ever really done with it is reprogram a CCM module, compared to running the usual fault logs..

Only unlimited VINS on the old cable (that doesn't give you the 'full' diag on the newer cars - like my Skoda MY22), or you have to pay extra for unlimited on the 'new' cable...

I went with an upgrade on the 'new' cable, and went for 3 vins when I was searching or the S3... Then I lost the cable, so had to 'upgrade' again.. .Since then, I think I'm now on the 10 VIN 'charge'...

Yeh the whole VIN lock in is complete bull****.
Main reason why I never went with VCDS. So many times Iv helped out people from family and work that I couldnít of done with VCDS.

Iíll post up some pics when I get my Q5 up and running to do some checks.
I do have a couple of pics of a procedure I did on my A1 and RS5 a few years back.

My god, are we ever going to see fuel back under $2/L or is this how its going to be now?
Considering the fuel excise is about to be put back in its just going to get worse.
Its getting to a point now itís probably more cost effective to switch to a synthetic than rely on the oil industry?

I think it's going to be the new norm... Unless the gov can fight against the big industry and lobbyist, then they can do what they want, including taking extra profit out of the gov propped up fuel excise...

Yes, for those that have to drive every day, family use etc, the cost of fuel is horrific, & what about owner driver truckies filling their 1600L tanks at $2.30 a litre.
The motoring press seems to have an ever increasing focus on various forms EVs & the like, no doubt being influenced/assisted by fuel costs.
Our dentist is a bit of a car guy, his "toy" is an BMW M3, but He's bought a Tesla model 3 which he is very impressed with.
