I seriously doubt this, a situation that has been predicted several times in the last few years, particularly sinse the onset of covid.
Interest rates are still at historic lows, compared to past highs. I ain't saying that there mightn't be a slight period of "stabilization", but, IMHO of course, that's all it will be, before, as always happens, the upward curve begins again.
If I could make a Political post I would, but I don't think that'd go down well with mods, so I will refrain.

I think when it comes to the crunch and banks will refuse to lend out free candy, prices will have no option but to drop.
We know that banks are planing to tighten up their lending ability’s next year.
