Yeh I dont know why but if it was this eazy why are euro car upgrades wanting 7K to do this lol?

That might be true, but I'm not sure if there are aerials for norh and south hemispheres.. I know phones use different frequency in USA compared to us. But again, not sure if you need a different aerial for that..

yeah, unless they are doing something that I'm not aware about. Disclaimer... I did this about 15 years ago(?) so the memories not 100% pure, but I do remember I had a single din unit, and swapeed out to double din, and a RNS from the UK (I think)... What I do remember is that it had to be coded to 'souther hemisphere'. I think the model I had was from a A3, or TT and had to have the face plate swapped as well, as the surround was slightly different in the A4 B6.

Moving house... what a pain in the (all parts of body!!!).

So just finished selling a holiday home that we had 20 mins outside of bathurst, and our family home in Davidson, on the northern beaches..

Moved in to a smaller home, so guess how well all of the stuff from two places fitted! That and I don't have a garage now (only a carport), so it's a cluster fudge..

I'm on a busier road than I was before, so that's a hard pill to take... but it's only a 5 min drive to some nice windy bits.
