    Default B9 Control arm bush

For nearly three years I have had a very annoying "clunk" coming from the front end of my 2017 B9 S Line quattro Avant. Never driven off road but often "vigorously" on the bitumen.
I mentioned this but was told there was nothing found.
Finally I have been told it is a cracked bushing in my control arm. Cost of repair... $1,300. NOT happy!! The car is showing 40,350km because I am retired and have far too many
choices of vehicles to drive. I find this beyond acceptable. My last Audi had over 200,000 km when I sold it and was running perfectly until Audi deemed to crush it due to a
failure with air-bag. They actually paid the owners MORE than I received !! If this was a Hyundai or a KIA it would be a warranty job. I am now seeking another repair quote from a former
Audi mechanic who doesn't charge $200/h.

If you willing to drive up to Sydney go have a chat with Ralph from Hoskins Auto at Mortlake. They are Euro Specialist. He has looked after my Audi for the past 8 years. He doesn't put his hand in your pocket for unnecessary work either. Top Mechanic.

It now seems it is the Right hand strut. More to come.
