  • Thanks for your assistance...

Im keen to get this stuff installed. Its been a challenge trying to get assistance from either Audvolks or Melbourne performance Centre (both of which are listed as the APR dealers in Vic)

It would be great if you could assist me with the washers for oil and water lines etc.

Could you email me at steve_180@hotmail.com

    Steve

    Hi Mate,

Are you free over the weekend to have a go at getting this sorted?

    Thanks,

    BT
Thanks for writing back Chris, much appreciated. I couldn't write back to your private message as my post count is too low :( .

I don't want to inconvenience you too much, so whenever you are available would be fine. I work in Port Melbourne and could meet you whenever and wherever is convenient for you.

    Thanks again,

    Bobby
    hi mate,

I read in the Vag-Com post that you have a Ross-Tech and can help with coding. I got an Audi A4 B7 and installed a Dension Gateway Five bluetooth system. The phone menu is not available and looking at the Dension website i found that for some models, the phone feature needs to be enabled by coding it. Below is the info copied from the site:

"I have just bought a Gateway Five I have no Phone menu on my cluster display.
Answer: In case of CAN BAP based system (VW) the phone menu is disabled by default on the cluster menu in most cases (except if the car has a factory phone option) therefore it has to be coded before or after the Gateway Five installation.

    Coding procedure is as follows:

Using a VAG COM (aftermarket diagnostics system)

    Select ‘CAN Gateway (19)’
    Select ’Installation List’
    Tick ‘Telephone (77)’
    Save Coding

Is this something you can help with? If so, i would happily compensate you for your time and effort.

    Thanks,

    Bobby
