8V VCDS Mods

Me too I need some help with coding. I’m sure someone on this forum can at least direct us where we can get a coder or the best one to use? Even a list of options. There are probably options I want to enable but don’t even know about!
Im in Maroubra. Anyone willing to help.

Just bought a Ross-Tech HEX-V2.
Ive run a test and line is good. I’ve also run an Auto Scan and have the results.
I want to put a beep when you press the remote. I think that’s a good place to start fuddling!
Anyone willing to help out?

Is your car PF or FL? Different coding required for each.

you can code a soft beep if your car comes with alarm fitted. Otherwise, you may have to go the car horn method in vcds

Jenische,

I’ve attempted all available info on beeping on lock with key fob but no go for some reason.
I’ve also adjusted the 3 options on page 1 of this forum and reset the MMI but nothing.
My RS3 is a 2015 PF.
Daniel

UPDATE: It worked. The chirp is very faint.

Haven't seem many posts in this room for a while. Any new mods to think of?

Alao i just bought a C63S AMG. Does anyone know if there is a "Rosstec" sort of device for the Merc? I heard not. Mercedes keep this stuff very secret.

My 1.4 has the comfort package with electric seats. Is it possible to software mod so the seating position is remembered by the car key used?

No, the A3 range don't have memory seats (electric, but not memory). It also doesn't have the concept of multiple use profiles, so there way to map these the keys. I know you have a Tiguan as well (so do I) and this can be done in the Tig because it has user profiles and memory seats.

For anyone wanting to disable the key fob boot/trunk release:
“09-Cent. Elect.”
“Security Access”, enter code 31347 and click the “Do It!”
“Adaptation”, Click on the “Channel” selector drop-down menu then select “... Access control-Direkter Auswurf des Heckdeckels”.

The “Stored Value” should read “active”. select “New Value” “not Active”. Select the “Do It!” button.

Click on the “Yes” button to confirm the changes.
