I have just joined and can sadly announce that my A6 Avant auto trans is definitely on its last legss and all advice to date is to lay it down gently and move on.
As part of the transition into my next Avant for a daily drive and presentation vehicle for my golf business I need to decide what to put my money down on.
I thought as a newbie in searching for this type of vehicle with a goal and purpose in mind, that this Forum would be the best way to get the truth, whether its positive or not, I am willing to take advice and learn more about this vehicle type.
With a purchase budget of $17-20K and goal of a 70/30 reliability / performance mix ( small tune down the track) , my research to date has settled on two vehicle types
- 2014 / 2015 B8 A4 Avant 2.0TFSI Quattro
- 2016+ B9 A4 Avant 2.0TFSI Quattro
