Hi, My wife reported a rattling sound coming the engine bay of her A1 2020 TSFI30. It only occurs whilst driving. Especially accellarating and decellerating.
After further inspection as follows: Placed car in neutral, raised on drivers side and rotated the front wheel. I could hear the rattling and a clunk. Repeated the same on passenger side and noticeably worse. And it seems to be coming from betwwen the engine and gearbox. This is where the Dual Mass Flywheel is and my research explains that the DMF also acts as a dampener for the torque coming from the engine. They say its very common for these to go at 100K - 150K km. However this car only reach 60K kms !!!!!!. Any thoughts on this or concur with this diagnosis and I cant seem to find any recall notices on it.
