I have a 2019 A3. It didn't come with Audi connect from the factory. I've inserted the SIM card and enabled the following using VCDS:
- my_audi
- online_portal_browser_services
- picture_navi
- online_dictation
- remote_HMI
- Support_of_threeway_calling
- Smartphone_interface_for_rhmi
- map_instant_messaging_support
After making the changes, Audi Connect icon appeared in MMI. I was able to login with myaudi account and access google earth. But Audi connect shows "Service is unavailable" and "The data connection is restricted".
As far as I know, only A4 and above would have factory enabled Audi connect in Australia. all A3 8V facelift got Audi connect disabled. Although, my A3 has all required hardware (except internal eSIM) and firmware fitted.
Can anyone please help to make it work?
