B5 RS4 Stage 3+ build advice

Hi all. I’m looking for suggestions for anywhere that could do a stage 3+ build on my low kms b5 RS4. I’m over in Perth and unless I’m missing something, options seem to be limited. Open to sending it over east but even over to Europe if needs be, but clearly hoping to avoid that. Any suggestions in Australia welcome. Thanks.

are you talking a new turbos? If so, kits are old now, not sure you'll find new/old stock.

You don't ned to look any further than here. A past forum member (Falco) lived in Perth and had a monster RS4. Read up on his old posts for ideas.

Pretty sure Falco sourced all parts and had Ramp in Perth assist with wrenching and separate remote OS tuning. Falco did logs for tuning about 40km south of perth. I brought a few of his interior parts shortly after he wrapped it into armco’s on the graham farmer having just entering it from the great eastern hwy off that circular entrance.

Now are you expecting to do nothing and just pay the bills. Just a view but no Perth workshop would take on that job. They could do 5 to 10 Rs3 or golf stage 3 builds to your one b5rs4 builds There’s no money in it because there is f#%^ all b5rs4 supply chain parts. ( talking mainly factory stock parts.) who would warranty one off parts you are buying and your not doing the tuning

My workshop I use in Perth won’t touch b5 s4’s any more and by extension b5rs4 . eg owners with wrx low maintenance budgets and no patience on parts sourcing which are hard to get your hands on and workshops have to spend overhead time trying to source parts that’s not billable.

There’s no money in it for local shops and there a b5 rs4 is crap engine to put high hp and tq through. My Audi can do circa 1000hp plus without opening up the motor stock and you can probably grenage a 2.9 tt Audi v6 motor at circa 550hp on stage 3 turbos with upped boost


These cars are now in the 25 year import window. Just a view , but from a financial perspective your best bet is try daily trolling for a year or so to find and a uk unicorn that has been built and import it to Oz then sell yours ( keep it stock). If I had a low b5rs4 , strictly fully reversible Boltons that can go back to stock.
