B5 S4 Air Bag Controller Replacement

The forum is a bit quiet, like others, so I'll post my latest work. My air bag light was staying on, the air bag controller, 8D0 959 655 J suffered from the well known memory errors. I bought a tool to clear the memory error which worked fine but it got to the stage of having to reset it every day. There is quite a bit written about this model controller and its memory error especially during cold weather cranking. Anyway I managed tho get hold of a 8D0 959 655 TD controller from Poland. The Tx series controller was the fix for the J controller. Did the swap out and coded all good. Biggest issue is dealing with 25 year old plastic trim, plenty of care and attention required. I removed the trim piece from around the hazard light switch, which I didn't need to. It has 6 clips holding it in place, of course 3 remained behind. I ended using some 3D printer ABS filament and a soldering iron and basically plastic welded them back in place it work surprising well.
