hi all,
so my rear bulbs have progressively been dying one by one so following some guides on Audizine, i attempted to replace them. im pretty sure its the same with B6 A4 sedans but with the Avants, near the rear hatch is a little small plastic cap that you take off and inside is a bolt that holds the entire light housing in. remove this bolt, remove the light housing then it comes out completely, then you can remove the circuit board and the individual bulbs.
anyway, a lot of people warn you that the bolt that you remove is easily dropped down the hole. i ended up dropping the damn bolt inside. ive got a snap-on magnetic thingy to pull things up but after fiddling around inside that small hole, i cannot for the life of me find out.
i dont think its fallen in the first section closest to the inner trunk lining because then it would be near the sub enclosure. i think its fallen in the bit thats closest to the wall of the light housing. NO idea how to get to that bit.
any ideas??? is it hard to remove the rear interior lining??
