error message Do not rev above 4k rpm

I was sitting in the Macca's drive through just idling, when an error message popped up on my instrument cluster. It was a yellow graphic and read Do not rev above 4k rpm. I drove to a parking bay and turned off the engine, then after a moment turned it back on but the error did not present again.
After a bit of research, I've found that the error goes away and doesn't leave a code when the engine is turned off. On another site, they suggest it is the blue oil sensor below the brown one on the oil filter housing.
My car is an A3 8P 1.8TFSI engine code CDAA. The only listed oil sensor is the brown sensor for my car. However in the Audi TT with the exact same engine they list the blue sensor. TPS111
My question is, since both cars have the exact same engine, will this sensor fit my engine even though there is no listing for the blue sensor for the A3?
