OK, it's been on the cards for over a year now but due to our wedding and another house, the timing wasn't right. but now that things are settling, it's time to sell the car...

2004.5 A4 S-Line Avant - 94,000km's with full service history. i am the second owner and purchased it in june '07 (most people on here remember my saga of finding one) from the original owner who only had 20,000km's on it. the car is pet free (i don't own any pets), no one is allowed to eat OR drink in the car and i do not smoke.

For those that dont know, the S-Line model for the B6 range isn't just an add-on pack like with the B7/B8. It was introduced to bridge the gap between A4's and S4's. By default, they are:

  • turbo
  • quattro
  • 6-speed manual
  • leather
over normal A4 TQ's, they come with:

  • bigger turbo
  • bigger injectors
  • different ECU tuning (140kw instead of 120kw)
  • dual side-mount intercoolers
  • different bodykit
  • sports suspension as standard
  • bigger front brakes
  • and other things...
mine is optioned from factory with

  • xenons
  • RNS-E TV/GPS (video-in-motion unlocked - $8k factory option, not aftermarket, so it has the colour centre-DIS display), including 2009 maps and 2x SD card readers for MP3s
  • in glove-box 6-disc CD changer
  • leather and alcantara interior
  • reverse sensors
  • anti-glare rearview mirror
  • black exterior trim package
  • very nice soundsystem with sub in the hatch
  • dual climate control
  • auto-headlights with come/leave home lights
  • sunroof
  • luggage net
  • and other things...
i have also modified it tastefully with the following:

  • APR Stage 1 for S-Line: 232hp (173Kw) and 265 ft lbs (360Nm)
  • BBS LM 19x8.5 w/3mm spacers on the front and 5mm spacers on the rear w/ extended nuts
  • Kumho Ecsta SPT KU31 235/35
  • H&R Sport Springs
  • RS4 Rear Sway Bar
  • RS4 Pedals
  • APR Snub Mount
  • GFB Hybrid BPV
  • BlinkTek Design Heat Shield
  • Drop-in POD filter
  • Hawk Ceramic brake pads all-round
  • DBA 312mm cross-drilled front rotors
  • ECS Braided Lines
  • Custom LED parkers
  • Tint
  • Exhaust tips ;)
the car is washed religiously a minimum of twice a week and professionally detailed every 2 or so months.

asking price is $33,000 (neg).

Nice avant !

I remember when you fitted those BBS wheels to it. It certainly does finish the car off nicely. Good luck with the sale bud. What are you moving onto?

at the moment, nothing is on the cards. im just going to wing it...

i am eyeing off a 2007 RS4 but it is pretty unlikely atm. the minister of finance and all things domineering will give the final say. ive always wanted an E46 M3 but the missus says the E46 shape is too old. so the other candidate is a 335 sedan... everything else i want is way out of my budget :(

Ill have to agree with you

The wheels certainly will be a big selling point. Unless you get a potential buyer who dislikes them (which he/she should be shot & you should decline selling it to them).

I personally think the E46 M3 is the best shape made in the M3 line up. The lines on it certainly is more aggressive than the new one. If budget allows, i'd go the M3 E46 - bang for buck. If you can afford it... get the RS4 B7. Both real driver cars.

he he he
no.
:)
unless you buy the car, you get the wheels with it!

yeah you dont need to convince me... :D ive been pushing the E46 M3 argument with the missus for 1.5 years now and it's not getting me anywhere. here's hoping for the B7 RS4...

we'll see about the rims. there's no way i'd take them off anyway.

yep selling the RS4 ... but in no great rush ... as i have a few cars now both in adelaide and in melbourne.

you mention that you may aquire an RS4 ... convenient that mine is up for grabs at the same time :big_wink:
