G'day guys,
I've got the following brilliant control surfaces for sale: Euphonix MC Control as well as the Euphonix MC Mix. Intended to be put together (actually, you can have 1x MC Control and up to 4x MC Mix's). I'm not desperate to sell but if anyone is interested then its yours.
Euphonix :: MC Control
Euphonix :: MC Mix
Check the above threads for info. Fully motorised faders. Fully assignable keys to work with your DAW (or even video editing apps). Supports all types of plugins cocurrently so if you're in your DAW then open up a VST, it will automatically pick it up and re-assgn the faders/knobs/buttons accordingly. Perfect for those who are in a 100% software environment but require something hands-on to control everything.
Reason for selling? I recently got a Novation keyboard that controls plugins well enough and having started off with trackers two decades ago, i'm still accustomed to keyboard shortcuts and mouse control.
The other main reason is that Euphonix are yet to release PC drivers for these control surfaces. Yherefore, they are perfect for Mac OSX setups. However, there IS a workaround for PC users - you can setup a Euphonix 'server' on a mac (maybe a cheap G4 or laptop or something) and then install the PC client software thats networked and the PC can still make use of these control surfaces. This is the main reason why I dont mind if I sell or keep because I currently have a MBP but my main DAW is on a i7 desktop, but hopefully next year I will have a MacPro too so if i don't sell, I'll just hold onto them till then.
Anyway, they are big, bad and beautiful and feel sooo fine. PLENTY of youtube videos available. Here are two:
It comes with all manuals, driver disks, and power cables but unfortunately no original box as they were damaged upon delivery. These come from a non-smoking and no-pets home and my wife isn't allowed to drink/eat near any of my music hardware.
Oh, and to make up for the lack of box, I will also throw in a D-Link DES-1005D 4-port switch too (as these are connected via ethernet to the host).
Originally purchased 25/11/2008 so there's another month of warranty left.
MC Control RRP - $2,399.00
MC Mix RRP - $1,599.00
Looking for roughly $3,000 + postage for both of these bad boys! (including the bonus 4-port switch)
Please post questions or offers. Thanks!
