Audi, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Porsche and Volkswagen will each have space as usual.
Join us for Shannons German Auto Day (GAD) 2024, as it returns to Canberra at the picturesque location of Thoroughbred Park.
GAD is a celebration that spans generations of automotive excellence, showcasing classics alongside the latest innovations in German engineering from BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche, Volkswagen and more.
Visitors will be treated to a dazzling display of luxury vehicles, sleek sports cars, powerful SUVs, motorcycles and eco-friendly electric vehicles. Each vehicle showcased at the show symbolizes the relentless pursuit of perfection that has become synonymous with German automotive excellence.
This is a public event open to all from 10am until 3pm Sunday, 22 September 2024.
Bring your family and friends for a day filled with:
• Stunning displays of German cars, from classic BMWs to sleek Audis and powerful Porsches.
• Meet fellow enthusiasts and share your passion for these iconic vehicles.
• Enjoy delicious food and coffee from our vendors
• Browse through a variety of vendors offering automotive accessories, merchandise, and more!
There will be a gold coin donation for entry, all proceeds going to our nominated charity.
Each year GAD attracts people from across the country. It's more than a car show, it serves as a platform for community engagement and collaboration. Local businesses, artisans, and vendors come together to showcase their products and services, adding to the festive atmosphere and supporting the local economy.
GAD is a collaboration event organised by local German branded marques, Audi, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Porsche and Volkswagen. For those who want to display their German automotive marvels, please get in contact with your respective marques club via their website or Facebook. Bump in/out times for vehicles will be advised by each Club.

we'd love to see an epic turnout of Audi's at Shannons German Auto Day 2024! We would love someone to assist with being a point of contact for Audi. Not much is involved (we promise), we just need to know roughly how many cars will be attending so there's enough space etc. and a point of contact for any updates. DM us if you're available
