Good morning everyone,

Greetings from an A4 B8 - proudly Multitronic!

I have to say that I love this CVT, coming from another CVT on Mitsubishi Lancer, a C250's steptronic before that, and manuals.

1000 rpm 80% of the time is unbeatable!

How long have you had your B8 A4 for?

Whilst the Audi Multitronics don't necessarily have the best reputation (particularly the earlier incarnations used in B6/B7 FWD A4s), by the time the B8s rolled around Audi seemed to have sorted out most of the niggles which made them a bit more reliable. They are also a super smooth gearbox that make for a pretty relaxed driving experience.

Glad to hear you are happy with the car and gearbox and hopefully it continues to deliver a favourable experience for you.
