Jells Park Day out

Thanks to those who organised, Simon and the rest, had a great day cruising with the boys, and a great day at Jells Park BBQ, sad i couldn't stay.

Cars on that day were modded A4's inc Simon's, Lucas and Bruce, sorry didn't get to meet you all. Matt's A6 was great too, and the decked out VR6 from VWvortex, that beast sounded mean. Sophie's (hope i got her name correct) TT 3.2Q was just dead sexy, and the perfect exhaust note coming from the twin remus exhaust. Louie brought his red carrera which made it hard for me to keep up, with another 1.8T a4 tailing my back made me nervous around the corners :big_wink:
there were others inc another a4 i think, and a vw gti which i didn't personally meet, once again sorry, but i had a great day crusing with you guys. Looking forward to see the group shot as simon has planned for the newsletter.

cheers

Yeah a big thanks to Simon (quattro mad) what an awsome day, and all that traffic did not hinder anyones spirit. That was the first time I saw the roll caged vr6 and it looks like a load of fun. Simon has made a suggestion for a couple of night drives so watch this space for more info. The A3 1.8t will be the second red car in the club so Raymond has some competion. Thanks to Alexis for sacrificing going on the drive to mind the BBQ and making sure nobody stole our cooking space. Would love to see this many cars on the next drive it was great. Neville left the TT at home and brought the a4 but assures me he won't bring the transporter on our next event. (which he says drives like a sedan tdi). What happened to Jason s2 we lost u close to BBQ. And the three amigos in their b5 s4 fronted 1.8 turbo's always turn heads green blue and black u know who u are. Debra has asked to borrow the boche balls so she can practice for the next drive day and with Ross coaching we may be in trouble. Also thanks to ross for helping Raynor with the cooking it was perfect. Donations on the day have gone to the James Day go to Hawaii fund so I will be sure to send u all a postcard. Thanks for a great day

Great day guys and girls, good weather too. The roads were a little busy, next time i'll try organise some quieter lesser known roads to play on. Was great meeting you all, thanks James for your help on the day.

Thanks for organising Simon

Sorry I couldn't stay for the bbq - I had a family lunch to attend (bbq with Audi Club would have been more entertaining.. trust me..)

Nice to see quite a fw more Audi's out for the morning drive.

A night drive would certainly be a good idea. I vote for reefton spur
