keyless entry no working

hi everyone . i just got my car back after it was stolen, so the thief replace my original key that is no smart key.and it wont work the start stop egine button,and key less entry .then i got a locksmith to fix it by delete all the info out ,and put my origanl key for this car on .,.now the start stop engine button is working ,and my keyless boot open is working as well , but my 4 door isnt working on the keyless entry, anyone know how to fix it ?is just code need to be done or theres hardware are broken ?
is 2008 audi a4 b8 3.2L
 
hard to know without getting more info.
probably best to get a scan of the errors to work out what part(key, dash, receiver) is having the issue.

uhmm ok ...i asked somone to scan the car..they said theres no erro code showing or anything.they have no idea wats going on ...maybe i should take to audi and see if they can fix it ...but will be expensive right ？
 
but my keyless entry on boot is still working ...is the reciver that recive the engine start button and boot opening are the same as the keyless door entry ??
 
hard to say what the locksmith has done to be honest.

there is central locking and also immobiliser.

maybe if you are using insurance to claim just take to audi to fix.

nah i dont have insurece ....thats the thing,...they locksmith told me he did nothing harm to it..al he did is clean the data..and put the bcak the original key in ..and said the start button is working boot kekless entry is worrking..must be electrition problem ..feels bad ..thank u so much for reply me .
 
No problem. I would suggest taking it to an independant... If you've been using a 'off the shelf-bluetooth' scanner, it probably won't be decent enough to show the proper error codes that you need.

If you get it scanned with vcds/vagcom or ODIS, then it might show the full error and point you in the right direction. An independant should be way cheaper than Audi.
