Massive water leak Q5 2014

Hi Guys

I am getting water pouring out of the top console pictured post heavy rain? Right behind where the sunglass holder is. I am also getting water in the drivers side footwell. It’s caused my front right headlight to flick on and off.

Do I need to replace the windscreen or would it be something else causing this?

Checked the sunroof drain on left hand side this morning. Water flowed fine. Couldn’t see a drain on the right hand side. In saying that I believe the windscreen may be the culprit. IMG_9578.jpeg

Given the location of the leak I would say it is more likely to be the windscreen seal. Given the state of those seals (all cracked up) I'd say it's a fairly sure bet that that is the source of the leak.

The sunroof drains are on the left and right extremities of the sunroof opening, front and back. They are a common cause of leaks, but not where I'd be starting my search in this case.

Thanks very much. If I get someone out to replace the windscreen seals would they normally replace these two parts? One on the left side and one on the right. Sits above the window. What are these called and any idea where to get two new ones.

Your Audi dealer parts counter should be able to supply all the relevant parts.

Not sure I'd trust any aftermarket options (assuming they exist).
