Milka's RS6 Build thread.....

Nice that you are back, I thought something had happened to you or the car since it was so quiet for years.

Do you still drive with the unopened standard engine?

How much horspower and torque have you been driving with during these years?

Have you done any updates since your last post 2014?

I'm currently installing MaxxEcu Pro on my RS6 engine.

No major updates, the std engine is still running strong

Max KW was ~470AWKW on a Dyno Dynamics, 1200nm I think off the top of my head.

Why the choice of MaxxECU Pro? How are you controlling the Drive-by-wire?

Only thing that's happened to me is kids and work taking my time

MaxxEcu Pro can control dual e-throttle, so 1 e-throttle as in RS6 is no problem.

MaxxEcu can read 12 EGT so i will have 8 installed = one for each cylinder.
Then flex fuel sensor for E85
Dual wide band
A lot of temp and pressure senssors
And easier to tune than Motronic
And I can throw away the air massmeters and a lot of other parts.

Hey guys, been really busy with a lot of other things.... Work, 2 young kids, Riding with Tour de Cure, etc....

No major upgrades for a while but she's pulled apart at the moment and considering how far I should go with her, have a few things ready just not on the car, Pauter Rods, Worked heads, etc.

Also thinking about whether to keep the GTX3071s or go G30-660s

I'm glad you're back!

I'm a little busy at work right now, but will upload some pics of everything getting put back together.

So I look forward to finally seeing some pictures of the car from the last 6 years.
So please show us a lot of pictures now.

Yes I'm happy with MaxxEcu Pro and e-gas works perfect.
Now I can finally adjust what I want myself without having to hire anyone.

I adjusted everything and got it going well by myself, but only ran at low boost pressure at the first test on the track.
MaxxEcu has built-in memory so it saves everything you want, then you can connect a computer and download it and analyze it afterwards or upload it as several meters and text in a gopro movie like I did here from the first track test I did with MaxxEcu:

And I have an 10" Android Tablet on the dashboard as you can see in the movie so I also can see eveything live when i'm driving.

I have this temp and pressures sensors connected directly to my MaxxEcu Pro:
2pcs wideband lambda left and right
8pcs EGT one for each exhaust port
engine oil temp and pressure
gearbox temp, rear axle temp
fuel pressure, fuel temp
air box temp, IC temp left and right, intake temp
crankcase pressure
water temp in engine and on the cold side of the radiator.
Exhaust pressures.
And some more air temps around in engine bay

that was fun to watch!!!
Thanks!!

Here is another one from this fall, Here I only tested 100-150 km/h & 100-200km/h and started with low boost pressure and then increased.I have a button at the gauges on the tablet where I can choose 3 different charging pressures on MaxxEcu.

Unfortunately, I got in the wrong gear after a few tests at the maximum charge pressure and happened to turn the engine up to 9770rpm as you can see in the movie, but the engine still works.

Really impressive, amazing what you can do with a lot of horsepower and torqe! I hand't seen and RS8 before!

Oops - lucky no catastrophic engine damage occurred.

Off topic, but first time I've heard about the GRC. I'll have to check it out next time I'm in Visby (appears to be only 45 minutes or so away) and only a small detour if heading back up to Fårö.
