Photos of q7 4M engine bay please

Hi team. I’ve recently done some pretty significant work to my 2016 q7 4M 3.0 TDI (engine out of the car) and I have one part left I can’t quite find a home for.

I’m quite sure it’s from around the rocker cover area on the right side of the engine as you sit in the car (Australian here…..so right hand drivers side).

I’d be super appreciative if any members might be able to take a few engine bay photos for me, to see if we can locate where this goes? You may need to take the cowling off the top of the engine to get a better view.

Thanks!IMG_2023-11-21-073801.jpegIMG_2023-11-21-073820.jpeg

There should be a part number stamped on the bracket davus - if you can share that, that should assist with identifying where exactly the part is fitted.

I’m sorry, I should have mentioned that in my post.

I’ve already looked the part number up at partslink24 and unfortunately it doesn’t show the location.

But for reference the part number is 059 971 502 J

According to the part number description it's an "holder for wiring - engine bay". Given this I'd be looking in the engine bay where you have a big chunk of wires or hoses running through and look for the mounting holes. It'll be to secure a wiring harness or hoses away from hot or moving components, and therefore may be at the extremities of the engine bay.

Thanks mate. I’ve searched for all the obvious areas.
I’ve tried the “Tetris” style approach also, by just looking at the marking and holes on the bracket to see if I can match it up to anything.

Unfortunately after a week or so of trying to find a home for it, I’ve reverted back to either getting a member to take a few photos for me, or even heading to an audi dealer / car yard to see if I can find it.
