random question about tuned ecu and ecu modes

Hi all,

(my tune specifically is APR ultracharger 2+, CREC engine)

Whe a ECU has been tuned, does it affect all available modes that can be driver selected? or is it only applied to one? ie, do those modes have their own base fuel and timing maps?

talking about Comfort, Efficiency, Automatic, Individual and Dynamic?

i seem to get the best responsiveness when driving by leaving the car in automatic selection.

good question.

On the older cars, it was just a 'flat' tune, ie, one program that changed the fuel/air map etc.

Looking online, it says newer tunes can be changed for each mode, but it might depend on the specific company in Oz that did the tune.

Best way is to reach out to APR with your VIN and they should be able to tell you.
