Returning to Audi

Hi all!

I used to be quite active on this forum back in the late 00's when I had my B6 A4 S-Line Avant. Since then, I moved to an E60 M5, a W204 C63 Avant and for the last 6+ years now, a W205 C63 S AMG sedan. I'm now looking to move into a C7 RS6 (FL).

Is this forum still quite active? I've checked some of the classified threads and there doesn't seem to be as much activity compared to yesteryear..
Are there any members thinking to sell their C7 RS6? I have been scouring Carsales for months and not many new examples pop up.

Older photo of my C63S.. Have since also added the Edition1 front lip.

Cheers,
Linh

We bought a new C63 6.2V8 Perf. Pack around 2012, a great car. We've owned a few Audis the latest being an RSQ3 which Wifey bought in 2022, so nothing as exotic as an RS6!
Activity?...well maybe a little less, but still some good stuff on here, & I'm sure all members will be interested in your RS6 "Journey".
Good luck with your search.

Welcome back Phorte and long time no see.

I highly recommend the B&O sound system in the C7.5 RS6 - one of the must have options IMO. The exterior carbon pack is also a nice to have - rear diffuser in particular is massive. Soft close doors are also a nice to have (once you have them you can't go back, particularly if you have kids).

Happy hunting and let me know if you want a second opinion on anything.

I agree on the B&O.

when I was looking for RS6 some time ago, that was a must have..

Hi Alister! A familiar face :) Thanks for the warm welcome!!

Thanks for the tips! My best friend has both a C7.5 and C8 and he too highly recommends the B&O option!

Hi I am like you in terms of being extremely active early last decade but stuck to strictly within my swim lane. Eg 8 year journey of a stock b5 s4 with a tune to a great 300awkw stage 3 with awesome drivability for the street but lacked the reliabilit. So moved onto a m3 e90 and the natural progression of an upgrade to another euro twin turbo 6 cylinder of same vintage of the b5 s4 but much better drivers car with same factory hp as the m3 before you start tweaking.
Just moving back to the 4 rings after a more than a few years looking for an oz delivered unicorn on a beer budget and not settling for a no difference UK same factory personnel import BS that some appear to push or a WOVR brought back from the dead. Time and place for those but not if you have limited garage spots

Prefer forums as opposed to Facebook, but showing my age and it is much quieter on here than in the past over a decade ago . Seems most of the action has been rs3 centric.

That said, a couple of diehards appear to be still posting that I recognize.

And another one back in the fold. I still have my RS4 and RS6 and shipping container of parts but got distracted over COVID after being seduced by an allroad. That lead to a Touareg and then to a Porsche Cayenne GTS.

All directly due to the state of the roads I was travelling on, air suspension and ground clearamnce became mandatory after the widespread damage from 2019 on.

We drove the RS4 to Perth and back in early 2019 with great delight but today many of those roads are potholed and for an RS4, enough to shake it to pieces. Things are improving so time to start taking the Audi out for some trips.
