Yep got a little OCD and went through them all to view if ANY had that particular option/spec added

6 months. It’s only $180 -$200 for peace of mind. Then normal service every 12 months.
That’s what I was recommended and suits my OCD. (Probably Frankster too )

FYI 3x Sportbacks delivered last week (Monday think it was) at Perth Audi. That has to be a record just watching them land in the last ohhhh say 2½ years FFS!!!
1x Kemora, 1x Red and 1xWhite (none of which had the Carbon Package option I believe)
They were sitting in their "holding yard" out back of the dealership.

Mine on the other hand has docked in Freo Port last Thursday according to the Hoegh Autoliner website / tracker!!!
So been hanging on tight for a call from Audi - hopefully it got unloaded!


When is the new face lifted version getting released - June or July you reckon??!

My Sportsback took 2.5yrs and the dealer said they are getting 1:10 sportsbacks to sedans even now.

Wow, 1:10 ratio is crazy stuff!!?
Granted there would obviously be a lower number of SB orders in the system but is Audi just holding off producing SBs for "better productivity" purposes or ???

Anyway, nearly there........I think?!?!

Frankster mentioned a "face lifted version"?...I haven't heard anything about that. With all the talk about hybrid & EV vehicles, I.C. vehicles don't seem to get as much mention these days.

yes, but also plenty of media talk about the massive price drops on electric cars and peoples recent hesitation... hence I think ICE will still be on the horizon for a while longer in Oz...
Then again, I'm also putting a bet on hydrogen being the 'most popular' fuel in the future (when, I'm not sure!)

Used market prices seem to be coming down now?

This one on carsales has seen a few price drops recently.

Granted it's got 28,000km on the clock, which likely has something to do with it. It's the first sub $100k I have seen in two years though.

Seems to have a lot in common with the S3, at least it hasn’t got the ugly grill from the S3 but I still prefer the old one. I like some of the interior touches from the S3 like the extended lighting around the console and new gear selector but I don’t like what they did with the door trims, I would expect most of that will follow into the RS3

Yep pretty much agree mate
I'm keen to see if:
a) Oz gets a damn flat bottom steering wheel in the next RS3
b) The Akrapovic exhaust is on there too. Surely if its on the S3, then it comes with the RS3?

I don’t think we will see the Akra on the RS3 but you never know. The flat bottomed wheel does look good but free driving mine for a little while now I actually prefer the round wheel and I’ve driven with both on the track and the round is more practical there for me.
I am keen to see if they put any extra features or tech on the RS3 but I think somewhere in the future I’m going to try and retrofit the new console with lights and maybe gear selector in mine.
