RS3 Sport Back- Aus Option Pricing and Spec Sheet

I'll be watching this thread, while not a reality for me unless there is a lottery win, I am too one of those in what now seems to be the minority that still loves the "Hot Hatch" over the Sedan.

Hi all,

With the popularity of the Sedan - I thought I'd start a thread for all the sports back fans.

Currently pre orders are due to go until 4th of July with delivery ~ 4th of November. The next batch will be in the new year.

All the same options as the sedan albeit $4k cheaper.
Yes, our Dealer told us in late '16 that He couldn't see a new sportback before late '17, or He said, "knowing Audi", it could be even early '18, which is why Wifey bought hers in Dec '16,..did not want to wait another 12 ms, so did the deal,...and she's happy,....360HP is good enough for her,.......at the moment?!
Pickles.

Also watching with interest: owner of an early 17 S3 SB so it'll need to be at least 12-18 months before can consider the RS3!

Where do you get this information from? I've been told (by dealer) it's $1500 difference between Sedan and SB.

And I've paid a deposit on this information...

I was told by John from Audi center Melbourne.

$4k is a big jump - $1.5k sounds more reasonable... will be interesting to see.

Sure is - the difference between a S3 SB and S3 Sedan is $1600 so I'd be looking more at the $1500 diff for RS3 as accurate.

If you compare the UK prices, it's about 1.6k difference..

I've got an allocation, but dealer hasn't told me the BW yet, they were estimating between end Oct early Nov delivery..

I’ve been told a plan week of 32, but no build week. Don’t know if there’s a difference...?
