RS3 Sport Back- Aus Option Pricing and Spec Sheet

I’ve placed an order too this week. Nardo Grey Sportback Carbon Edition. I’ve also added Matrix LEDs. Achieved just under 10% off RRP (qualify for Corporate) which I’m pleased with. April delivery for me too and informed by the dealer (after ordering) that Australia’s allocation is apparently already close to fully spoken for. Replacing a PFL S3 and genuinely excited as I can’t see that engine existing in unmodified form sound wise for much longer.
You are going to be very happy.
Wifey traded up her S3 to a new RS3 Sportback (PFL) a few years ago. You will find, as she did, that the RS3 is a totally different animal. When she bought hers, it was at the time when Audi could not confirm that whilst they were getting the Sedan with the new alloy 294KW engine, they didn't know whether the Sportback would be available, she definitely required the Sportback, so rather than miss out, she bought one of the last PFL RS3s that just happened to be on the Dealer's floor, Daytona grey, black package, carbon inserts, performance pack, sunroof, big stereo etc, and whilst she's 24KW down on the alloy engine, she absolutely loves this car,..and so do I. My own car is an HSV VF GTSR, and in most applications, her RS3 would be quicker,....on a twisty road, wet surface etc, she'd simply disappear into the distance!
You're going to be very happy.

You've just made the wait that much harder now mate!!!
Lol!!!..Seriously, they are an incredibly capable car, and very under stated, Wifey finds hers pretty much perfect in every situation. But you've probably driven one, so you would already know that!

Nope. Like my S3 sedan, I bought it sight unseen. I was driving a B8 A4 which was a great car so I assumed the S3 would be better in all aspects, and it was. Just as I expect the RS3 to be over the S3.

Just put the S3 up on car sales, so fingers crossed it goes quickly, being the only Nardo one (I suspect in the country!

These are still FL version cars. Difference is that most options are now standard. Very limited allocation to AU by Audi Germany - 100 cars.

Are the 100 cars the monthly allocation to Audi AU? Surely, after April there would be a May, June, July and so forth?

100 cars, Jeez that's not very many at all, Don't know how many dealers there are in Aussie, but that wouldn't leave many per Dealerl,..it could even affect price negotiations for a good deal maybe, if there aren't many cars?

Yup, that's why they're not giving much in the way of discount. In fact one dealer told be he didn't NEED and wasn't going to discount much as there was limited stock and the demand was high. Consequently, I bought elsewhere!

Having said that, not all dealers have access to purchasing/selling the RS range.

Hi Joecool

got my contract updated today with the redundant privacy glass option taken out, and $1k knocked off the price. Very happy man now. Thank you for your suggestion.

My pleasure mate. Better the cash in your pocket than the stealership.

Hi All,

A couple of other MY20 changes on the RS3 (apologies if posted somewhere but I couldn't see them).

- brake callipers are black only (no red option) - not a fan of this change, love my red callipers on the S3
- Kyalami green is available as a colour from CW10/20 as a NCO as are all colours except for Aria and Panther (both $748)
- for those not going carbon edition, the matt and gloss styling packs are available

Now the game begins with ringing dealers to get the best price I can :)

What config are you looking at getting?

Put my order in today as well!!! RS3 sedan, Carbon edition, matrix lights, Audi exclusive colour (dark red mica), Audi Corporate. $98K DA. That damn VIC luxury stamp duty is a killer.

Good day, could you kindly explain what constitutes Audi Corporate pricing? And, does the dealer automatically apply this pricing to the contract when signing up? Cheers.

Hi All,

Pleased to say after a couple of weeks of backwards and forwards with a couple of dealers I ended up purchasing an RS3 Sedan, Daytona Grey, Carbon Edition, Matrix Lights (I qualify for Audi corporate pricing) for $91K drive away, very happy with the price. That also included tinting on the front to match the privacy glass as close as possible within legal limits and euro plates. I ended up going back through the dealer I used for my S3 purchase in Pennant Hills NSW so there was some history there. Got to say they were great to deal with again, no pressure or rush from them. For anyone else looking I think they still had a couple of RS3's in their initial batch unaccounted for, well they did last week anyway. PM me if you want the salesperson I went through, great guy and easy to deal with.

And so for me the waiting game begins....

That is an insane price, Magician!! We here in VIC get slugged with additional luxury stamp duty, thanks to the Victorian government. That's significantly cheaper than most were paying just before the RS3 went on production stop.
