No worries, now got new oil in the diff and oil and filter for the haldex. Also changed the brakes this morning, not driven it myself yet, so no comments to make on the pads.

thanks for that, my wife was going to bring the a4 too, but she pulled out because of a baby shower! :???:

I might bring the a4 next time

was a great day, the only thing wrong was all the damn roadworks!
 
My mate was due to bring his A4 but one of the rear wheel bearings was knackered - his g/f had been using it and failed to mention :beat:

Haven't been on the forums for some time and would of definitely come along in my A4 2001 B5 GP....

I need to replace my brakes; can anyone recommend where to go? I usually have my car serviced at German Auto, though unsure if it's best to take it here for brakes alone.

Cheers and hopefully see you guys on the next cruise.

German Auto can do that, they won't care about the scope of the work, just charge you for the brakes alone. I doubt there's any saving by having it done during a service really.

An hour should be long enough to do the fronts, maybe consider a brake fluid change if you haven had one done in a while. Should be doen every 2 years.

All Clutch and Brake Service, 3 Pinn St St Marys 82778122 - pretty close to German auto. He has always provided me good advice and service on many different cars, family business. Be worth giving them a call re pricing, you may be pleasantly surprised...if that is possible with an Audi
