Hi everyone sorry for the lack of corrispondance in the last few weeks I have had some personal business to adress and am now back in shop. As you can see we have an event coming up which is set to be one of the highlights of the year. Simon (quattromad) has volunteered once again to draw up a map of directions to make sure we don't get lost. As you can see we have lunch organised at the historical Tahbilk Winery Wetlands Café and bookings will ensure we all get fed so please rsvp on this forum or call Alexis Townsend on 0422 126 358 James Day on 0438 911 944. We had such a great turnout at the last event I can't wait to how many we get in convoy for this one. We have had some new members of recent join and even scalped one from Sydney (81 urq). We have also had some Ozaudi regulars show some interest so it will be great to see you all there. Alexis will have new member welcome bags along with application forms for those interested. Our Club Audi Polo'shirts will be available on the day. I am sure Jeph will be there in full swing. and Daniel has his car running a little better now to. We've all heard about about Mathew's new Sat nav so I will be following him. I hope Jason can make it in the S2 it is such a great looking car. S3 Page has not been seen since the Jells Park picnic day so keep your eyes out for a red A3 1.8t. See you all soon James Day (evenflow)

Wish I could have made it but I'm still a youngin with petty little career determining assignments/exams to do/study for, in addition to the fact that I work every weekend

Oh well hopefully one day it will all pay off!

Will definitely try to make it nextime if there is one during academic holidays...

Would have loved to meet some of you guys, looked like a great day!

David

p.s. OT but since I was on the topic of my career, is anyone down in Melbourne in any type of Finance/Statistics related field? I'm a Statistics/Mathematics major at Monash Uni, just applied for a part-time position at GE Money to gain some related experience...Any ozaudi members who could lend some advice would be greatly appreciated
Also any "favors" are most welcome

Oh the dust, the dust! My car is filthy!

Otherwise it was a fantastic day out, some great roads, great people and a really nice lunch.

hey Alistar great photos!! was it a good day??

Yep good day with some great roads.

We took the long way to Nagambie (but definitely the more fun way) but the direct way home (the Hume). Ended up getting home around 6ish and was exhausted..

Nice, how many years since you been out? (I'm at Clayton, will finish mid-2007) are you enjoying it?

If you don't mind me asking what is your current position and workplace? (pm me :) )

Thanks Alister
David

p.s. hopefully more of the Melbourne crew including myself could meet up next time :)

I finished at Monash about 7 years ago (but did do some further post grad study part time after elsewhere).

PM sent re the rest..

I agree to many speed cameras but what a great drive we will have to do that one again. Thanks Simon for organising such an awsome route. Alister have seen your car so much on the forums but it was great to see it in the flesh. A3 page I think your car has the best front bar have all the a3 forum readers seen this. A big thanks to Audi centre Melb. for the coffee and hospitality once again your support of the club is much appreciated. Sonja was like a little kid with a new toy how much fun a two way radio can be. Simon 17 missed out on the drive but it was good to meet you. Now what are are the registration rules for modified ur quattro with a roll cage. I am sure we can get it on the road 81 ur falcon. lol Mat (camel s3) sorry you missed out on a great day we will be sure to make it on a sunday next year. Daniel seems to attract 4wds so close to his rear I am beginning to think he has been giving cheek on his 2 way , Is that what happened to the 90 quattro? Once again thanks for a great day
